The Process: Budget
Once the architect has created preliminary drawings, we will provide
a preliminary budget. This budget will be based on our discussions about
materials and features you want in your home. If this budget meets with
your approval, we'll go forward and give the go-ahead for the architect to complete the working drawings. Once
the working drawings are completed we can estimate detailed costs for materials
and labor and provide you with a final construction budget.
It's in everybody's best interest to make interior design selections
up front when materials, finishes and appliances can be coordinated, and time and cost-saving efficiencies can be realized. Sometimes, alternative design solutions
occur in the middle of the process. When a great idea presents itself, we are flexible enough to make changes.
